Meet Dr. Andrew Monteith MacConnell

Dr. Andrew Monteith MacConnell, DDS, has been a dentist at the Center for Family & Implant Dentistry since 2014, where he enjoys changing and improving the lives of his patients, as well as working with his staff, business associates, and his students and residents. In addition to being a Doctor of Dental Surgery, he is a Mid-West Implant Institute Fellow, Fellow American Academy of Implant Dentistry, and Diplomate American Board of Oral Implantology/Implant Dentistry. Dr. MacConnell has completed over 2,000 hours of continuing education, including coursework in oral implantology, IV sedation, orthodontics, and has completed the Advanced Implant Institute in Puerto Rico’s AAID Maxi Course in Oral Implantology and IV Sedation. He has also completed the requirements to be recognized as a Master Provider in Orthodontics by Fast Braces. In addition to his involvement in AAID and ADA, he is also a member of the Tennessee Dental Association and the First District Society of Tennessee. Dr. MacConnell knew from an early age that he wanted a career in healthcare, and has since furthered his education and training in many aspects of oral health.

When not in the office or working on continuing education, Dr. MacConnell enjoys spending his free time swimming and participating in The Master Swimming Organization. He also enjoys traveling, visiting friends, going RV-ing, and being a proud fur-dad of four. He is also a licensed real estate broker in four states, and has been a real estate investor, developer, and/or broker in four states for nearly 40 years. Dr. MacConnell was named after his grandfather who was born in 1881.
